Not many people know that Electrolysis has been in use for permanent hair removal since 1875.
Due to a lack of information, many people have used temporary methods such as tweezing, waxing, sanding, lasering, or shaving. Tweezing and waxing have been shown to actually increase the coarseness and density of hair growth. Laser hair removal has shown inconsistent results and cannot treat all the colors, types and stages of hair that Electrolysis can.
Electrolysis works by treating each individual hair and follicle. The target of destruction is the hair papilla. The papilla provides blood for hair and follicle growth. As treatment progresses, the hairs become softer to the touch and fewer in number until gone.
